Jameson's Irish Whiskey

I adopted my human in the summer of 1990.  I was a stray kitten in the neighborhood, and a pretty sad sight to see.  I was a scrawny little thing, and not the cutest kitten in the world, so the people of the neighborhood just ignored me for the most part.  My human had noticed me one day, as I was mewing outside of the house, but was not in the mood for a new kitten at the time.  The previous cat of the house had gone to Rainbow Bridge in May, so another kitten was being considered.  Anyway, a couple of weeks after I was mewing outside of the window, I was invited inside.

I was a little timid at first,  but really grateful to have my own litter box and lots of tasty kitten chow.  The evening that I came inside, I jumped up onto the wicker love seat and lay down beside the human with my head on her lap;  she thought that was a sweet gesture, and decided that I was going to be ok.  I have never gone outside since that day, and have no desire to do so.  I love looking out the windows at the pretty flowers and the many birds that are out there, but I'm a confirmed indoor guy. (actually, I used to be a real guy, but the vet did a really mean thing to me!)

I get along with everyone in our household, even the calico kitty who is despised by everyone else.  I love to curl up with my brother, Casey, or with my sister, Abby, and sleep all day long, or just sack out by myself sometimes.  I don't like loud, sudden noises, but I am usually friendly to our visitors after I sniff them out to make sure that they are ok.  I love to have my tummy rubbed, but like to move just out of reach, so the humans have to get out of their chair or take a step forward to reach me!

I had a problem with feline urinary tract disorder when I was younger, but was cured with prescription food, and have been very healthy since that time, and am (kind of) trim since we started eating Iams Less Active food several years ago.  I am well cared for and very well loved by all of my family, and am nearly always a very good kitty!

I have joined The Cats Meow Club!
